Want a national networking experience? Look no further!

While we don’t normally advertise conferences here on the blog – we want you to be aware of this exciting professional development opportunity, available at a discount to YNPN Chicago members.

Are you looking for exemplary peer and mentor networking? Leadership coaching? Professional development? Look no further than Independent Sector’s NGen: Moving Nonprofit Leaders from Next to Now pre-conference program, October 29-October 30 at the Swissôtel in Chicago! Registration for this two conference is $90 if you sign up before September 16.

This premier event for under-40 leaders will feature these opportunities and many dynamic speakers. Learn more about the program by clicking here.  The NGen program enhances the visibility, leadership presence and professional networks of emerging leaders under age 40 and strengthens the capacity of the sector’s young leaders to contribute to addressing our society’s most significant challenges now and over time.

Over the last three years, more than 400 emerging leaders have participated and their passion, insight, and commitment to the future of the nonprofit and philanthropic community have made this one of the premier events for under-40 leaders. NGen complements the programming of the 2011 Independent Sector Annual Conference, and YNPN Chicago/National members receive special partner rates to the main conference (use code YNPNCH (for YNPN Chicago specific messaging) OR YNPNNAT (for YNPN National specific messaging) when you register. Scholarship opportunities are available to attend both programs, particularly for leaders age 40 or under in the Chicago area.  For an application, email scholarships@independentsector.org.
